Questions

›What are some common Celsius to Fahrenheit conversions?

-40 °C = -40 °F, 0 °C = 32 °F, 15 °C = 59 °F, 30 °C = 86 °F, 100 °C = 212 °F and 220 °C = 428 °F.

›What is the formula?

Multiply by 1.8 (or 9/5) and add 32: °F = °C × 1.8 + 32. Going back, subtract 32 and divide by 1.8.

›Is there a quick mental shortcut?

Double the Celsius figure and add 30. It's exact at 10 °C and stays within about 3 degrees between 0 °C and 25 °C, but drifts further off at oven temperatures.

›What oven temperature is 180 °C?

180 °C is exactly 356 °F. Recipes usually round it to 350 °F, which is close enough for baking.

›Is my data uploaded anywhere?

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser, and Rounder never sends what you type or drop in to a server, ours or anyone else's. Once the page has loaded, along with any AI model the tool uses, it even works offline.
